Each month the great deity Kishimojin is honored with a buddhist service which includes a tea offering. She is the protector of women, children, the dharma, and its practitioners. Kishimojin is associated with the pomegranate, so we added in the flowers to make this blend pleasing to both Kishimojin and the temple members themselves. A blend of Houjicha Green Tea, Pomegranate Flowers and Jasmine Flowers
A special herbal blend for the celebration of the Buddha's birthday. Sweet Amacha, Amrita Tulsi, Jasmine Flowers, Rose Petals and a sprinkle of Lotus Root. I've been working on this balanced blend and am happy to say its available now. Traditionally, Amacha (sweet tea) is used for Hanamatsuri. This blend combines tradition with properties and energies from other plants. Amrita Tulsi, the elixer of life and held in the bowl of the Medicine Buddha represents gratitude and open hearts. Roses and Jasmine carry intentions of love that has no limits, as the scent of aromatic flower knows no bounds. Finally, a sprinkle of Lotus root for obvious reasons and to remind us that we are each at a different point of growth on our path.
